General Postings:
Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall physical condition of the buildings, to determine and prioritize major renovation and replacement needs. Maintenance repairs are done by Chuck Puckett on a daily basis, and outside contractors are hired for larger projects.
Information on pesticide inspections is available at the front office.

Asbestos Plan Notification
We wish to inform you of the status of our school asbestos management plan. As required, our building was initially inspected for Asbestos on August 15, 1987. The AHERA LAW requires that a visual surveillance of the asbestos containing areas be completed every six months and a re-inspection conducted every three years. The most recent three year inspection was completed on July 1, 2019. The latest six month periodic surveillance was conducted on April 17, 2021. The inspector management plan is available for public inspection in the main school office.

Deseamos informarle sobre el estado de nuestro plan escolar de manejo de asbesto. Según se requirió, nuestro edificio fue inspeccionado inicialmente para detectar asbesto el 15 de agosto de 1987. La LEY AHERA requiere que se complete una vigilancia visual de las áreas que contienen asbesto cada seis meses y se realice una nueva inspección cada tres años. La inspección de tres años más reciente se completó el 1 de julio de 2019. La última vigilancia periódica de seis meses se realizó el 17 de abril de 2021. El plan de gestión del inspector está disponible para inspección pública en la oficina principal de la escuela.
Integrated Pest Management and Notification
It is the policy of Rockdale School District 84 to implement Integrated Pest Management procedures to control pests in the school and minimize the exposure of students and staff to pesticides.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM):
The Integrated Pest Management program at this school will include the following:
Regular monitoring to identify pest problems
Preferance for the use of non-chemical control methods to address pest problems
When necessary, the use of least-hazardous chemical controls after non-chemical control methods have been applied
Preventive actions to reduce future pest problems
If a pesticide application is deemed to be necessary, the scheduled application will be when classes are not in session

Es la política del Distrito Escolar 84 de Rockdale implementar procedimientos de Manejo Integrado de Plagas para controlar las plagas en la escuela y minimizar la exposición de los estudiantes y el personal a los pesticidas.

El programa de Manejo Integrado de Plagas en esta escuela incluirá lo siguiente:
