    The primary mission of Rockdale Public School is to stimulate the intellectual growth of its students, accelerate appropriate peer interaction, and create and maintain an educational environment conducive to learning while involving parents and maximizing their positive influence on the climate for learning and its outcome.

  • School Board Members Day

    Educational leadership starts with dedicated school board members. November 15 will mark the ninth annual “School Board Members Day” in Illinois. This is the district’s and community’s opportunity to thank local board of education members for their commitment in providing a local governance voice for your public schools.

  • Cold Weather Information

    As the weather gets colder, we’d like to remind everyone that the school building/grounds do not open until 8:20am. Unfortunately, if students arrive before 8:20am, this leaves them waiting outdoors in the cold weather. In cases of bad weather and other local emergencies, please watch/listen to WJOL (1340am), Rockdale School’s social media accounts, Rockdale84.org website, Blackboard Connect messages, or television stations.

  • Basketball Season in Full Swing!

    Girls JV and V basketball seasons have started. We hope everyone can come out to our home & away games to support our student athletes. Go Rams!

  • Winter Band and Choir Concert

    Everyone is invited to our Annual Winter Band and Choir Concert that will take place on Thursday, Dec 14th, 2017 at 6:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and get into the holiday season!

  • Annual Holiday Musical

    Thursday, December 21th, 2017 - Our first performance will begin at 2pm and our evening performance will begin at 6:30pm. This year's musical is entitled, "I Need A Little Christmas Vacation."
