  • Cold Weather Information

As the weather gets colder, we’d like to remind everyone that the school building/grounds do not open until 8:20am. Unfortunately, if students arrive before 8:20am, this leaves them waiting outdoors in the cold weather. In cases of bad weather and other local emergencies, please watch/listen to WJOL (1340am), Rockdale School’s social media accounts, Rockdale84.org website, Blackboard Connect messages, or television stations.

  • School Supplies/Headphones

As we reach the mid-point of the school year, it is a great time to check with your student(s) regarding their supplies. Students need headphones for both their benchmark testing (week of January 15) and for upcoming PARCC testing in April, so it is important that they have a working pair for school.
