SOWIC - SOUTHERN WILL COUNTY COOPERATIVE FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

Rockdale School District 84 is a member district of Southern Will County Cooperative for Special Education (SOWIC) which provides special education programs and services.

Type: Joint Agreement established in 1969. Administered by an Executive Board consisting of the Superintendents of the member school districts.
Office Location: Located in Joliet in northeastern Illinois, approximately 40 miles southwest of Chicago in Will County.
Students: SOWIC serves a total student population of 13,700 students and provides direct services to 2240 special education students.
