Dear Rockdale School District 84 Community,
As we look toward the future of Rockdale School District 84, we are officially launching the process to update our three-year strategic plan. To ensure this work is structured, comprehensive, and focused on student success, we have partnered with Cathie Pezanoski from Pezanoski Consulting to guide our leadership team and community through the strategic planning process.
Our three-year strategic plan serves as a roadmap for our district. Updating this document allows us to review and evaluate our progress, address evolving educational needs, and set clear priorities for our academic programs, school facilities, and student support services over the coming years. Community input and involvement is the cornerstone of a meaningful plan, which is why eliciting your thoughts, experiences, and ideas for our schools is so critical to this work.
To kick off this effort, we are hosting a Community Listening Day on Saturday, September 12. The event will begin at 9:00 AM and wrap up by 12:00 PM. We are pleased to offer a complimentary continental breakfast to start the morning, as well as a pizza lunch for all attendees before we conclude. Additionally, our team is currently working on plans to provide childcare in the gymnasium during the event to make it easier for families to participate.
Your perspective as a parent, staff member, resident, or local partner is essential in shaping the direction of Rockdale School District 84.
